The movie begins with Roop Rathore, a struggling musician, living in Bombay with his mother and sister. Despite his talent, he struggles to make ends meet and dreams of making it big in the music industry. One day, he meets Reshma, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, who is visiting Bombay with her family. Roop is immediately smitten with her and starts to pursue her relentlessly.
Initially, Reshma resists Roop’s advances and is hesitant to pursue a relationship with him. She is aware of the class differences between them and is also worried about what her father would think. However, over time, she falls in love with Roop and they begin a passionate romance.
Their love story is tested when they face opposition from Reshma’s family, who are not happy with her relationship with Roop. They see him as an unsuitable match for their daughter and try to separate them. Roop also struggles with his own insecurities and self-doubt, which threaten to ruin their relationship.
As the movie progresses, Roop and Reshma’s love is tested, but they manage to overcome their obstacles and remain committed to each other. In the end, they get married and start a new life together.
